Four Strategic Priorities for IMO’s next 4 years

Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, the Secretary-General of IMO, presented the Organization’s objectives and focal points for the upcoming four years, aiming to foster safer, more secure, and eco-friendly shipping practices.

Addressing a press briefing at IMO Headquarters in London, Mr. Dominguez delineated four key strategic areas: regulating international shipping, providing assistance to Member States—especially Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries, elevating public awareness and perception, and fostering relationships with individuals and stakeholders.
