8th High Level Meeting on the Implementation of the Jeddah Amendment to the Djibouti Code of Conduct – MAURITIUS
DCoC Member States gathered in Mauritius from 12-14 November 2025, to discuss progress made in combatting maritime crimes along the western Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden. This includes an update on Resolution One on the establishment of Working Group 3 on Operational Cooperation and Coordination at Sea, which was agreed upon during the 7th High Level Meeting held in Dar es Salaam, 28-30 November 2024.

Highlights Covered:
- Enhancing the Information Sharing Network (ISN): thoughts will be shared by Signatory States, India, the Regional Maritime Information Fusion Centre (RMIFC -Madagascar) CRIMARIO and UNITAR.
- Operational Cooperation and Coordination at Sea (WG3) Panel: Find out through dialogue how Signatory States and partners will implement WG3’s Terms of Reference, Concept of Operations, and Roadmap. Sample how incorporating a Gaming and Simulation exercise will inform the WG3 Concept of Operations and Road Map Priorities.
- Advancing Thematic Areas – IUU Fishing, and Marine Environmental Protection: working structures for the three out of the seven agreed thematic areas will be discussed. Hear how States will bolster capabilities on Port & Ship Security, Protection of Coastal Installations, IUU Fishing and Maritime Environmental Protection.
- Strategic Partnerships and Donor Engagement: Learn how, with the Engagement Strategy, regional States and implementing partners will enhance coordination and avoid duplication while promoting a shared vision for long-term sustainability of the DCoC framework
